What is a LEGO Minifigure Habitat?
If you’ve never come across these before, minifigure habitats are basically a moment in the life of a minifigure. Vignettes of where they live or what they do.
The scene is created in a small build with 3 sides. Each habitat has to be exact, so that it can be stacked with other habitats for easy display.
Each minifig is given its own Habitat befitting its character, time, and place.
Do I need to follow the standard?
Yes. The standard is standard for a reason. And, yes, it’s a little complicated. If yours doesn’t match up with the others, you may be asked to modify it so that it can stack properly with the other habitats.

The clever thing about the design of the habitats is that they can easily stack together to form a pyramid shape, perfect for display.
